A quarter-century after stunning the theater world, one of the greatest theatrical journeys of our time returns to Broadway in an acclaimed new production from the National Theatre. As politically incendiary as any play in the American canon, Angels in America also manages to be hilariously irreverent and heartbreakingly human. It is also astonishingly relevant, speaking every bit as urgently to our anxious times as it did when it first premiered. Tackling Reaganism, McCarthyism, immigration, religion, climate change, and AIDS against the backdrop of New York City in the mid-1980’s, no contemporary drama has succeeded so indisputably with so ambitious a scope.

Winner of the 2018 TONY Award for Best Revival!

Angels in America opened at the Neil Simon Theater in 2018.

The Last Five Years is an emotionally powerful and intimate story about two New Yorkers who fall in and out of love over the course of five years.  The musical’s unconventional structure unfolds as Cathy, a struggling actor, tells her story in reverse, from the end of their turbulent relationship, whilst Jamie, a literary prodigy, tells his story chronologically from the spark of their initial meeting. In the musical, the two characters meet only once, at their wedding, which falls in the middle of the show.

After a critically acclaimed run at Southwark Playhouse last year and a highly successful worldwide stream with stream.theatre, Jason Robert Brown’s Drama Desk Award-winning musical, The Last Five Years, will play a limited season at the Vaudeville Theatre, previewing from 17 September, with an opening night on 23 September and running until 13 October 2021.  Directed by Jonathan O’Boyle, Molly Lynch and Oli Higginson will reprise their roles as Cathy and Jamie.  This will be the first time the musical will have had a significant run of length in the West End.

In this new one-man musical by Broadway's A.J. Holmes (The Book of Mormon, South Park, Team StarKid), Yeah, But Not Right Now, audiences get an inside glimpse into who Holmes truly is, including the most humiliating, embarrassing, and even irredeemable parts about himself.

Set at a fictional high school during the 2003 academic year (when the music of Green Day, blink-182, and Sum 41 were all the rage), this wildly comical and stridently raunchy story revolves around Derek, a “needle-dick poser” who dreams of being the cool guy. It all becomes possible with an aerosol can of AXE Body Spray stolen from the office of the principal, which conjures the “ghost-slash-genie” of pop-punk icon Avril Lavigne, who grants him three wishes. There is one condition: Derek must find Lavigne’s killer and doppelgänger, with the help of his best friend and class valedictorian, Tib, to release Avril from eternal confinement in the can.
